Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky

I am co owner of a house in Cleveland Ohio with my son. My wife and I retired to ky and we own a home here. My son filed for bankruptcy in ohio and now I received a letter saying they can sue me for the money owed on the house. If I file bankruptcy do I file here in ky or can I go to ohio and file.
