If a company located in KY contracts with a government agency in KY, and that company is later sold, is that contract transferable?

Any attorney will say it depends on the terms of the contract with the government agency. Normally, contracts are transferable, but the government is good about adding a lot of fine print. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
