I am sorry but how to write a defense is something even law school graduates struggle with. So, it isn't something I can relay over in a forum like this.

I can tell you that you could look for assistance through a pro bono (for free) clinic, a pro se (for myself) clinic or even go to the court clerk and ask if they have forms that can be used to answer a claim against you.

You need to know that you typically have only 20 days to file an answer.

None of these are a perfect substitute for finding a lawyer to represent you though.
