Fraudulent misrepresentation
Company abc makes a promise to employ a contract air pilot when they start their new company; the company cease operation and did not hire the pilot. The pilot filed a suit in a Kentucky state; claiming fraud based on the promises made by the abc representative. what are the elements for a cause of action based on fraudulent misrepresentation

Based on the few facts given, you may have a problem proving misrepresentation because I am sure the company did not anticipate ceasing operations when they agree to hire the pilot. Also, you may have a colleciton problem on any judgment.
