Legal Question in Business Law in Kentucky
Kentucky Business Buy out.
I was working for a company and the owner sold to another man. The man came into the building in late January, the previous owner left, but they did not make the actual transaction until February 28th. Legally, at what point did the new owner actually have ownership of the business? I quit Feb 16th, and he didn't pay me my vacation time due. Did he have any authority at that time to change our pay practices from the ones stated in our handbook.

Re: Kentucky Business Buy out.
There are arguments that could be made on either side of this but I believe the strongest argument is that the old policies were in place until February 28th.
