At work we turn in our own time cards. Any repercussions to padding time?

Re: Pay Roll?
Sure there are:
If you get caught, you can be fired. It is also a form of taking what is not yours - some folks call that theft.
If you don't get caught, it impairs the profitability of the employer which means less resources to pay employees better.

Re: Pay Roll?
Padding your time card would amount to Theft By Deception under Kentucky criminal law. If the amount involved is under $300, it would be a misdemeanor (max. 12 months in jail). If over $300, it would be a felony (1-5 years in prison). Don't do it!
