Legal Question in Business Law in Kentucky
recourse for non-payment of wages
I recently eorked for cash for an individual and he refuses to pay me What legal recourse do I have? Will it be a He-Said, He- Said case?
I found out his business is licensed, but I doubt he is following all tax and insurance laws. Would it help me to prove my case if I could show he was violating state or federal laws? How do I do this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Re: recourse for non-payment of wages
I would suggest that your first step be to contact the Wage & Labor Board. Look in the government section of your local phone book. See what their take is on the issue.
