Legal Question in Business Law in Kentucky
UCC Filing
We sold a piece of equipment our customer on credit terms. We delivered it to their customer. As a rule we file a UCC on equipment purchases over $10K. Would we list both companies as ''debtors'' on the UCC Financing Statement or just the company we sold to?

Re: UCC Filing
Always err on the side of caution-since you know that another party has both possession and some colorable claim to title, file in both names, assuming your contract is with your customer.
If they are entities, you must file in the state where they are incorporated/established
