Re: Filing civil summons
A registered agent for service of process is usually found only with a business corporation or similar business structure. Individuals normally do not have such agents. The agent is a person or corporation which has been designated as the place to receive lawsuits and other legal documents when the law requires that they be delivered to the business which the agent is registered for.
