Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Kentucky
judgement by default
i would like to know what this means, and would i lose my personal property over it. the sum is $6000.

A default judgment means thast you failed to respond to the lawsuit fled against you, and the plaintiff won because of that failure to respond. if you have personal property, it can be seized or garnished to satisfy the judgment. Most likely to go first are bank accounts and items that can be readily sold. You might want to consider bankruptcy, which will stop most garnishments and property seizures.
