paternity suit
i have been recently served papers in a paternity suit.the child is 14 years old now and the boys mother had another mans name on the birth certificate this man has raised the boy but is not her husband .if iam found to be the father through a paternity test what would i be responsible for they are wanting back child support child birth to be paid for and insurance.thank you

If a reliable DNA test demonstrates that you are the father, you will be liable for child support retroactive to birth, and possibly health insurance from the determination date forward until the child's 18th birthday.
