Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Kentucky
Private Pictures
If someone took embarrassing pictures (nothing nude) of another person with them knowing the pictures were being taken, and were to copy those pictures and send them to several people, what kind, if any, laws would they get in trouble for?

Re: Private Pictures
One generally has no legally-recognizable privacy interest in photographs taken in a public place and later published for a non-commercial purpose.
Under certain circumstances photographs could amount to legal libel of an individual, but simply embarrassing photos will not qualify as libel.
The act could easily be in poor taste, and cause the loss of a friendship, but it is doubtful the act you describe is legally actionable.
