If my sisters rent man accepted her rent money on the 2-18-09. But filed and eviction notice on 2-17-09. Then she got a paper on 2-20-09 to get out in two days can they do that???

First you have to see what he has written in notice you can also contact your landlord for the reason of notice, if he had taken a ground of defaulter then you may post your reply through attorney along with the receipt of the latest payment of rent. its better to contact the attorney
