Spouses Rights (Urgent)
My husband was put in a mental hospital, by his parents. He is getting worse everyday that he is there, due to his surroundings. I need to know if I can sign him out, without any legal consequences. Everyone I talk to says, I don't have a choice in the matter. Please Help Me!

Re: Spouses Rights (Urgent)
If your husband was involuntarily committed to a state mental facility you can't sign him out. He is entitled to a court appointed lawyer and a hearing on his continued detention, usually within 10 days.
