Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Kentucky
Ability to finish school in home state
Is there any way I can leave my parents' new home in Kentucky to finish school in Iowa where I began school in kindergarten? I am nearly 17 and will be a senior if I can go back to Iowa, I will have a place to stay, at least two ways to keep an income. I also wanted to stay there so I can attend college in Iowa.

File a petition for emancipation with the local probate court.
At 17, you're not likely to be turned down, but you'll be adjudged an adult, meaning your parents will no longer have any responsibility to protect or care for you.
