what is the statue of limitations for someone to sue another party for damages resulting from an auto accident?

2 years after the date of the accident, or 2 years after the date of the last PIP payment, but in no case is the Statute of Limitations on KY auto accidents longer than 4 years (assuming that PIP has paid medical or wage coverage). The 2 year limit is in place unless your PIP coverage has paid bills, and it is a good guide to follow. Call with any questions. 859-491-5800.
