Legal Question in Consumer Law in Kentucky
Accused of stealing
What can I do if accused of stealing towels from a hotel? I have spoken with them and they won't acknowlege that they could be wrong. My son and I both showered and with the number of towels I am accused of taking would add up to13 towels in the room. I have never been in a hotel with 13 towels. Plus I always use one towel to clean the bathtub myself.

Deny the accusations. It was nice of Mr. Nance to agree to call for you and that is what I would do. I do not think he will charge you for it.

I can contact the hotel about this and they may agree to settle the matter; I assume you want to come back next year.
