A bank assigned my half of a note to my partner.Over the last four years I have paid about 50.000 dollars toward this note to my partner. I have found out the bank has charged off the note in its entirety. I9 The partner is still taking a thousand dollars per mo. via an annunity. he has made no payments toward the note. Why am I still paying while he has been relieved of the debt?
