Court summons for overdue credit card debt

I recently received a court summons for credit card debt from an attorney and I can deny or accept it, but I am actually considering filing for bankruptcy soon. How should I respond to this letter?

Re: Court summons for overdue credit card debt

If you do nothing, the creditor will end up with a judgment and can garnish your wages, put a lien on your property, etc.

If you are "thinking about" filing bankruptcy, now is the time to get a bankruptcy consultation: you can include how to handle the lawsuit in the discussion with the bankruptcy lawyer.
