Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
2nd opinion....
My husband was on parole, we had a major argument about an affair he had, he left, came back things got out of hand, his charges are wanton endager 1, criminal att assault 1, fleeing/evading 1 mv, possession of handgun, and pfo 2. They are offering 8 yrs, dropping all but the fleeing and pfo 2. They have no witnesses and no handgun. We have a public defender, any suggestions? I would like to see them amend the fleeing to a misdem and drop the pfo 2, feasible?

Without seeing his case, you're probably expecting too much. I doubt many prosecutor's will amend that far down without a lot of aggressive defense tactics.
