Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky

I'm a 19 year old girl, and after being asked i sent a picture of myself in my bra and underwear and bathing suit to a 17 year old boy. I was not in a sexual position and didn't receive any pictures from him . can i be prosecuted?

I think if a county attorney is bored enough to prosecute you for providing photographs to a minor that are less explicit than what he could purchase a movie ticket to view on a large projection screen, you'd have a pretty good defense. I'm not even certain what possible charge you could face. I think even unlawful transaction with a minor would really be stretching it. I take it someone intercepted the photos, like his parents?

Regardless, don't send anyone photos of yourself that you would not want a future employer to see. The photos will end up resurfacing, and the nature of the Internet means they will be there forever. Even be wary of sharing such photos with a spouse. While in another 40 years I'm sure I'll be wishing I had half-naked photos of myself from when I was 20, I certainly wouldn't want any surfacing now!
