What amount is considered a felony in the state of Kentucky for a bad check?
My husband's uncle wrote bad checks totalling approxiamately $800.00 in the state of Kentucky. Is this a felony or misdemeaner?

The felony threshold in Kentucky is $300. That said, your
relative could be charged with misdemeanors if he wrote a
number of checks, each of which was less than $300.
That is, one $800 check is a felony; eight $100 checks
are eight misdemeanors.
