Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
Appeal After Sentencing
Two years ago I took a plea deal to a crime I did not commit. I was scared of the time I spent in jail and did not want to go back. I have served almost all of my probation but want to know if I can reopen the case or remove my guilty verdict and have a trial to prove my innocence. This happened in April 2006. Thx.

Re: Appeal After Sentencing
It's VERY doubtful that you could. Most judges deny motions to withdraw guilty pleas, especially 2 years after the fact.
