Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
I bought a car through a buy here pay here car lot and I am not able to afford it any more. I was susposed to have full coverage but when I switched insurance agencies I was given liability instead. I should have paid closer attention to it but I was just excited about the low rate. Well, while under this liability policy I had an accident but it was just very slight damage. I am wondering what legal action can the car lot take against me?

Unless you stole the car, or committed fraud, this is not a criminal law question.
You should consult the written agreement you had with the car lot concerning penalty for not having coverage. Likely you are only going to be responsible for the cost of repair, but because the car has now been in an accident, even once the repairs are made, the value of the vehicle has likely decreased. So, you might be on the hook for that as well. It is also possible that in the contract there is some stated penalty for breach of contract. Again, read the contract, it should answer all of your questions. If not, take your contract to a local attorney for review.
