Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
My boyfriend is Hispanic,but is legal here and he was arrested a couple weeks on charges of selling pot within 1000 yds of a school.His bond at first was ten thousand full cash which they lowered to five thousand, now he,s going to ask next week for another bond reduction of ten percent of the five thousand .Do you think he will get this,this is his second felony in less than three years.

Possibly, depending on the judge, unless they see him as a flight risk. However, clearly bond is the least of his problems. Unless he's now a US citizen, he could be up for deportation if he's convicted of another felony. Particularly if they commonwealth also charged him for being a persistent felony offender.
