Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
confused with reciept.
On a recent ticket that was being paid on by my boyfriend under the fees part it listed crime victim. What does that mean?

Without seeing the receipt to be sure, I suspect that the reference is
to the Crime Victim's Compensation Fund. Some years ago, the Legislature
decided to provide a source of money to help victim's of crime -- to pay
unreimbursed medical bills, etc. Rather than raising taxes, they assessed
a fee (court cost if you prefer) on criminal defendants.
