Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
contempt of court
my mom is being charged with contempt of court failure to pay fines.she goes to curt may 13th at 1pm.we thought the fine had been paid by her employer who agreed to cover the fine for my mom and myself working for them.but the employer failed to do so evidentally back in sept 07.how can i help my mom get out of jail on this explaination?

without knowing what the fine was for, if it is a traffic fine, or something in district court related to such, if the employer pays it before court, that is usually a pretty good argument for a dismissal bc the fine has been paid.
