Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky

Criminal law

My boyfriend is charged with a number of things, 2nd assault, 3rd assault, resisting arrest, contempt of court, and probation violation in another county for child support. The assualt charges are from a bar fight where he and his co-defendant were, my boyfriend only hit the guy one time and admitted to this. He is already a convicted felon and is facing a persistent felony offender charge as well. We do not have money for a lawyer to go to trial and I was wondering what would be the best way to go about things? He has no other past charges for violence. The guy that was hurt during the fight refuses to testify and is not the one pressing charges. Is there any way that we can get it dropped to a misdemeanor or any advice at all?

Re: Criminal law

Your boyfriend is facing at least 5-10 year if he's PFO. So he NEEDS to hire an attorney to help guide him through this. A PD doesn't have the time to properly handle this sized case. How much is 10 years of his life worth?
