co defendant
if a person is a co-defendant but is pleading not guilty and the person who comiitted the crime has plead guilty can the charges be dropped against the co-defendant in a felony case?

They can be, but the smart money says they WON'T be. The co-defendant can still be tried, found guilty, and sentenced to prison if convicted. I know this seems quite odd and completely at odds with the logic of life, but it's legal.
