First degree rape
What evidence does the state have to have convict on a first degree rape charge? Can a person be convicted on testimony alone?

Yes the defendant can be convicted on testimony alone. The prosecution
needs whatever evidence is sufficient to persuade the trial jury that the
defendant is guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt.
It should also be evidence sufficient to prevent the trial judge from
ruling in the defendant's favor summarily -- that is, by finding for
the defendant because the judge believes that no reasonable jury could
find the defendant guilty of the crime beyond a reasonable doubt on
the evidence presented.
