Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
I was the driver in an auto accident and was at fault. One of my passengers did not survive the crash. The passenger was a family member. Alcohol will be a factor. Should i ask for a speedy trial?

You should ask your attorney, you may not want a trial at all. While it is your decision, listen to the advice of your attorney, because only he or she knows all of the facts of your case, what evidence is admissible, and whether you should plead or go to trial. Someone giving general information about what the law is, cannot give you that advice.
