Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
drug manufacturing
my brother said many things before he was read his rights - can these statements be used in court? Also, if he had materials to make drugs locked in containers but did not have an active lab, what should he be charged with?

Re: drug manufacturing
The statements might be suppressed if he was being questioned while in custody. If your brother was just volunteering up information, those statements will all come in. He can probably be charged with a variety of things including manufacturing, or attempt to manufacture.
