Your are charged with a serious crime. That is, of course, different from being guilty of the same crime.
You need to hire an experienced criminal lawyer in your area as soon as possible. You did not mention what zip code you are in, so I do not have enough (geographic) information to make a recommendation.
Get on the phone tomorrow. Find someone you like, who has the experience and ability to represent you aggressively, and hire them. Call several if you do not feel 100% right about your first call.
