Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky

Grand Jurys

March 2, 2007 The Sheriff served a Search Warrent at my residence. They found 8oz of marijuana and some drug paraphernalia. I have yet to be incarcerated, and no charges have been filed. The Deputy said he was going to take the evidence and present it to the Grand Jury. He wants me to go to my supplier, wired for sound and purchase a felony.

How long Can they screw around before they indite me?

He (The Deputy) told me the grand jury was going to meet on the 24th & 25th of April. ''He came to my place of employment June 28th or 29th, and told me I had untill that evening to get him his weed!'' Thank you for your time....

Re: Grand Jurys

If it's going to the Grand Jury, it's a felony, and there is no statute of limitations on felonies.
