Re: gun law
Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon is a Class "C" Felony, with penalty of 5-10 years in prison. Possession of any other firearm by a convicted felon is a Class "D" Felony, with penalty of 1-5 years in prison. Unless you receive a full pardon by the Governor, restoration of your civil rights (voting, running for public office, etc.) is not the same. You otherwise should avoid any possession of guns.
