Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
Illegal Transaction of a Minor
I was charged with illegal transaction of a minor because of my 12 year old daughter's refusal to go to school and there were extenuating circumstances. I was not allowed to appeal and was not allowed to tell the reasons why I couldn't make her go. The school knew the reasons. I was put on 2 years probation, but I left the state, now they have a bench warrent on me. What can I do to correct this situation? Will I have to turn myself in and go to jail?
