Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
An investigation was opened about something i did, there was like one witness against me but i had other people say it wasn't true. The investigation was only brought to my attention once. Then i learned about other facts from people they talked to. Never came up again. I was 15 or 16 when they talked to me but it happened when i was 14 or 15. I have just been thinking about it lately because i would like to be a doctor. I just turned 18 in july and i am wondering if its anything i would need to worry about later on.
Like i said it hasn't been brought up at all for a few years by anyone.
Sorry the question is sort of vague, it was bad but they had no evidence so thats all i figured you would need.
Wasn't really sure what category of law would be involved.
pretty much me and a younger girl experimented and her dad got pissed. No sex at all.

That is pretty vague. I'm assuming when you were 14 or 15, that you had sexual contact but not intercourse with your girlfriend? However, it seems like there is more to the story, because a police investigation took place. So I can't give you an answer on whether you can still be charged with a crime, since I don't know any of the pertinent facts.
If you're concerned about what possible charges you could face if new evidence came forward, what the statute of limitations is, etc., you should make an appointment for a consultation with a criminal defense attorney in your area. Many attorneys even offer free consultations. What you tell him or her is protected by attorney-client privilege. It could give you peace of mind so you can move forward, get your degree, and apply to med school without worrying what ethics issues will pop up later on.
