Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky

Kentucky's Statute of Limitations for embezzlement

My wife's former boss noticed money was missing and brought in police detectives. No charges have been filed yet as they don't have enough evidence. Her boss has been trying to frame her. He submitted logs to the police that would point to her as the most probable person. He tried to frame a partner of his when his partner decided to leave and then he found out that my wife was planning to go work for the partner. We don't know if there is some point we can look forward to when all of this nonsense will be over and no one will come after her with formal charges. In the meantime her former employer has not released her 401k.

Re: Kentucky's Statute of Limitations for embezzlement

If it's a felony, there is no statute of limitations on felonies in KY. If it's a misdemeanor, I think it's 2 years.
