Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky

What kind of sentencing or time would someone be looking at for the following charges? What of these are felonies or misdemeanors? This happened in Jefferson County.

1. possession class 1 opiate

2. possesion class 3 unspecified controlled substance (xanax)

3. drug paraphanelia

4. public intoxication

The first is a felony, the last three are misdemeanors. Sentencing depends on if there are any enhancements, and at arraignment the judge will inform you what you're facing, but hopefully you have a criminal defense attorney who can help you weigh your options. Your options need to include substance abuse treatment. Your legal problems are the least of your worries when you are abusing prescription medications.
