obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation

my question is this, my husband was convicted of the crime named above he went on trial for possesion of a forged script first and beat it in a jury trial then pleaded guilty to this charge. all he did was go to one doctor then another a week later and got prescription pills and did not tell the second doctor he went to the first this is all the prosecutors had is that he did not notify the doctors and he got 3 years for this could you tell me about this law and if this is breaking it really and also about statute of limitations on this crime it ahs been a year

(1) there is no statute of limitations on a felony in Kentucky. (2) Misrepresentation is the intentional failure to reveal facts leading others relying on those facts to take action. In this matter, it would be sufficient to prove that he did not tell the second Dr that he already had a perscription for this substance. (3) He pled guilty and unles he was coerced into it, the case is over.
