If you pay the money back on a theft by deception will I have a record

Repaying the money will not undo the crime; though it will undo some of the harm the crime caused. Whether you will have a record (and whether you go to prison, pay fines, etc.) will depend upon whether you are convicted, not whether you repay the money.
Repaying the money will not prevent the state from prosecuting you. In fact, it will likely give the prosecutor more evidence to use against you. After all, repaying the money is pretty strong evidence both that you took it and that you knew it didn't belong to you.
You should get a lawyer immediately and tell her about your situation in detail. She will advise you how best to proceed.
