Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
representing self
My brother has been charged with felony possesion. He took all the money he had to post bond and now cannot afford a lawyer. The court has refused to appoint him an attorney, so he is going to try to represent himself, is there anywhere he can go for assistance?

Re: representing self
If he's been charged with a felony, he really needs to hire an attorney. Some attorneys will work out payment plans or take credit cards. It's very dangerous for him to represent himself on a felony charge.
