If a minior lies about there age and sleeps with someone over the age of 18 can that person that they sleep with still be charged with a 3rd degree rape charge?

Re: Statutory rape law
The age of consent for sex in Kentucky is 16, if the other party is 18 or over; and 14 if the other party is 17 or under.
If the minor lies about her age, that fact may be
considered in mitigation of punishment, but is not
a defense to the crime of rape.
