First time offense shoplifting under $50
What is the difference in pre-trial diversion and diversion? I have a court date scheduled to appear before the judge on a Class A Midemeanor. It is my hopes to ask for the diversion program and not enter a plea that will harm this situation. What should I do before or when I appear at court?

There is no difference that I am aware of for misdemeanor diversion. You should be prepared to make any restitution if any.
