Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
truancy
I signed over custody of my son to my mother in OK where he will be attending school. The courts have filed trauncy charges from the time he was in my custody. A friend told me that they would have to drop the charges since I am no longer his guardian, is this true?

Re: truancy
I don't know that your friend is necessarily right. They may not bother, but you might run into a prosecutor who will pursue it.
