Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky
usual sentencing for first offenses
What is the usual sentence for first time offenders for possession of drug paraphenalia and possession of marajuana (seeds, actually)? Would legal counsel help if you plan to plead guilty?

You face up to a year in jail, as both of those charges are class A misdemeanors. Some, or all, of that time could be suspended. I think you can always be helped by legal counsel because I don't think prosecutors have any fear of untrained people representing themselves because they feel they can easily beat those defendants at trial, or they'll never go to trial.
