Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Kentucky

Job Discrimination

I have worked at a job for nine years and in the last four I have applied for a position that has been open three times. Each time I have been turned down. I am more than qualifed for the position and I am currently working in another position within the same organization. Do I have an legal recourse? I want to know why I have not been chosen for this positon. Excuse that I was given was I didn't interview as well as some of the others. Please let me know what you think. Thank you for your time.

Re: Job Discrimination

You only have legal recourse if you were turned down for a discriminatory reason such as gender, race, religion, national origin, etc. You might also check internal promotion policies to see if those policies were followed.
