Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

I'm 17 and have a 4 month old daughter. Her dad wants to see her and i let him like 4 times. Then he got caught selling drugs, so he went to jail. He is going to file for vistitations. Will they give him visitation rights?

Likely, yes. But how much visitation he gets, whether he gets unsupervised visitation and whether he gets joint legal custody just depends on the situation. It also depends on the judge/jurisdiction, but considering he sounds like a real winner, he probably won't do very well in court/life in general.

I don't know of any judge who lets a parent with a proven drug problem (I assume he's using since he's selling) have unsupervised visitation with a child so long as they're using. If he can prove he's clean and a fit parent, he will certainly succeed in getting unsupervised visitation/joint custody if he asks for it. However, if he continues to be a drug user and a criminal, then no, he likely won't get unsupervised visitation, he'd be lucky to even see his child supervised.
