MY soon to be ex is trying to get me for forergy on a couple of checksi signed his name to, from finance companys. he knew about them,they were deposited in a joint checking account. now he wants to get out of paying them. he is saying he didnt know and the are both over a year ago.

Are you now divorced? If he got benefit of the money and if this was a practice between you he will have a problem especially if he participated in obtaining the loan.
