At what age can a grandchild choose to live with her grandmother and grandfather when she is unhappy at home.

That age would be 18. A child never gets to choose where she lives, although in an actual custody determination the court will often give consideration to the wishes of an older child. If there is a reason that her parents are unfit, then the grandparents could move the court for custody. Otherwise, she stays put.
